RECONSTRUCTION OF A 5TH FLOOR APARTMENT ON ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM STREET IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF THESSALONIKI

The study concerns the reconstruction of the corner apartment of the 5th floor. The existing structure of the apartment and the owner’s desire for a homelike, ethnic style space led to the design of a familiar interior space with warm Mediterranean elements and colors. The daily areas of the house, kitchen - dining room - living room, are integrated in a single space. They are connected with open “passages” through the traditional “pass” of the paneled wooden kitchen. The visual escapes in all directions create a communicative space.
