THREE LEVEL COUNTRY ESTATE IN “LIMENARIA”, MELINTA - PLOMARI, LESVOS

The idea is an open “V” as shown in the drawing. Dividing the “V” into two levels makes the house look less bulky and integrated into the landscape. It has two floors. The living room and the kitchen are located on the lower floor. Only one bedroom and one bathroom are on the same floor. A staircase leads to the other bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. The 90 square meter terrace on the upper level functions as an extension of the living room during the summer. Its elevated position offers a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea. Three olive trees are integrated in the terraces and stairs. The lower level consists of an art workshop of 28 square meters with twice the height of the other spaces and a basement at the back. The workshop is located on the south side overlooking the sea and is protected from the sun by a covered terrace of 19 square meters. All outdoor terraces are paved with irregular stone slabs. The shoring walls of the surroundings are made of visible concrete.
